MONTHLY EARTH SCIENCE IN NEWS ASSIGNMENT: A WRITTEN PRESENTATION.

            Each month you must find a current Earth & Space related news article, read it, and submit your responses.  Current means from the month that you are submitting the assignment. The first month’s assignment will be an oral presentation, hereafter a reading response in writing. Submissions must be at the beginning of class on the last Tuesday of the month. As this is a repeating assignment, late work will not be accepted unless you have an excused absence from school on the last Tuesday of the month.

                 Journals, magazines and newspapers are acceptable for this assignment. Web sites will not be accepted unless the web site is simply reproducing something normally found in print, such as U.S. News & World Report.
